Neo, the Oracle, and the Creator: The Matrix (Part 3)

Posted on Dec 4th, 2008 by michele : I <3 Om! michele
Interesting, as we peruse the Matrix Movie trilogy, how we move now to the Divine Trinity.  Do you think for a moment there was a mistake in naming the girlfriend that, Trinity?  Not on your life.  If you go back through the movies, I'd recommend keeping a dictionary handy, because none of the naming was done carelessly.  Every character, every ship, was named for an historical or mythical or Divine reason.  Neo, the main character, Neo - means new or different... and he was required to emerge as something unique in order to spin the matrix into a new era.

Neo was the Savior, but he was also us, the earthbound part of the Trinity.  He opened himself to the power of the Source, to his ultimate unfolding, and was able to go beyond the wildest dreams of the people.  Really, as you watch, so many of them did.  It wasn't just Neo.  The talented of our world, the heros, the movers and shakers, they are tapping that same energy... they are unfolding with the Divine emergence of the Christ consciousness!

You have to love the Oracle.  Not only is she the sweetest old lady known to the planet (well, or the matrix anyway), she loves candy, bakes cookies, and has a fondness for a cigarette every now and then.  She shares the unfolding of the Eternal with the forms of humanity.   I think she is a wonderful example of the Holy Spirit.  The Oracle is the Divine communication between human beings and the Creator.  Ultimately, Neo doesn't need her anymore.  He taps into his internal guide, which is the spirit within the self.  He can use this guidance to know exactly what the next move will be.  Even when blinded, he is able to source the matrix internally!  If we all could just hone our individuality to align with the Source that well...  incredible potential.

And the Creator?  Well, I know this isn't going to be a favorite character... because the Creator in the Matrix is the benign balancer.  He isn't a caring, loving God, but rather the Source of all, the equalizer, everything that there is, yet without a compassionate bone in his body.  He isn't even the God of the Old Testament, because there was zeal there, anger there.  The only goal of this creator is to balance the matrix.  What do you think of this portrayal of God?  Is it possible that the Source from which we come has no concern for our unfolding?   Could God just Be?  Could it be that everything happens as a balancing act?  Abundant kindnesses and war rebuilds balancing Nazi Germany?

The Oracle, the moves of Neo and his people, they were the actions of "good verses evil"... but in the scenario of EVERYTHING being God, there is no good, there is no evil.  There just is.  The Oracle and the Creator certainly discussed this in the movie.  We're thrown back to choice, aren't we?  If we all live on this planet together, we can choose to let it go in whatever direction our intention points.  We could live in harmony, in abundance, in peace. There really isn't anything stopping us... oh wait, except ego, greed, and power.

So is this spirit within, this Oracle of the Matrix that hides in our hearts, is it directing us to a world of nonresistance?  Can we live with the Trinity as described by the Matrix, where the responsibility is actually in our own hands?  Interesting questions?  I hope the answer is an emerging YES.

ok….evidently my “battery's still recharging” here, woman. 'Cause….before now..i woulda' been ALL about addin' to these 3 series of blogs. But i can't. Not at this moment. Maybe i'm actually changing plains once again here. maybe i AM getting to that point wherre i don't have such the “need” to respond, to add MY 2 cents worth into the mix, but just to absorb, to experience, to be one WITH, letting THEIR words, thoughts, ideas, dreams sink into this BEing. Hmmmmmm……
does this have ANYTHING to do with the Matrix? Yes & no. YOU decide. i'll just BE.

I just can't wait to continue seeing your perspective on things that I have read or watched.  I would love to hear your feedback on the Bible Code. :)

the bible code? not sure what you mean, Debby. could you explain for me. Thanx! And I'm sure I shall address MANY of michele's PAST blogs to come. I'm just, right now, trying to recoup from a dark spot I seem to have come across the past few days here. And handing out apologies left & right for having been SUCH the ass..to many…on here as well as around my neck of the woods here.

The Bible Code is a book that says the original text of the Bible is actually a code and hidden in the code are predictions of everything past and present and every one.  This explains it better than me……… http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bible_code

Keep in mind, although I know what I believe, I am not sharing either way at this moment, I am simply stating I would love to know what Michele, Judy and Dee Dee think of this book. LOL.

My wise and insightful comment is that Rich’s name is Richard Mallard, Rich Duck : ) And for whatever it’s worth, DeeDee is like a trained spy… she is always listening and watching even when she is silent. And, she’s not shy, even in her silence that is not the deal!!!

Hey ladies I hope you are all wonderful this weekend. M - I love your Matrix series. I still don’t know where I stand on it all. I go to meditate and there are so many things I’m dealing with that I don’t get to thinking about the Matrix. Bummer! On the other hand, life is certainly interesting these days. I think there is something wrong with my computer, since I am typing like crazy and nothing is showing on the screen until a minute later. Guess that is a signal to close up for the night. Talk to you later. See you on Sunday. J

Well hello, Dee Dee! Nice to finally have the blessing of meeting with on here. My past young punk surfer dude friends usedto call me dICKdUCK, but i didn’t think Gaia would be all that pleased with my using “dICK” in my profile call out (they DO seem to get a wee bit tempermental when it comes to being politically correct about some things - or so it seems to me). Anyhow….i wish you grand illuminations of your journey, wherever it is leading you for the moment there. And Judy…..maybe it’s ME, but when you combined your going to meditate AND things you’re dealing with & thinking about…..isn’t the REASON for meditation to ESCAPE one’s mind’s control over one’s self? I COULD be mistaken there with’ (ain’t the first time, won’t be the last either).

Michele,  I agree with your assessment of The Matrix… God, Spirit, Human… I do believe God/Source does not care, it is just creation, as you say the balancer… Our source of knowing is within, yet ego causes great dance of confusion and fun for the unenlightened human…
I have not read the other two post on this but will get back to them… I followed Rich here… because he is a cool guy! and wanted to see what he was getting into..

I do all different things in meditation, AND I’m not so good that I can sit without my thoughts coming up, so I just work with what I have.  I don’t worry if I’m doing it right or wrong, just if I feel better when I get up.

M - the concept of a neutral god source is uncomfortable.  I would prefer some type of sense to this madness, even if I don’t understand it.  To be caught in loops of misery for no purpose seems hopeless - which was what I took from the Matrix the first time I watched AND is not what I’m getting by re-visiting it through your eyes.

The source had a reason for what it did/caused, even if it wasn’t within the individual’s reality or purposes.  That is OK with me on this level because I don’t expect to understand anything at this point.  I guess that’s my “faith.”  It’s what helps me accept and surrender to things I don’t understand.  Gotta go and earn some bacon.  Talk to you guys later.  J

Hi Jeff… I’ll agree completely with your “Rich assessment”… I’m hopin’ to keep him around for a while (to suck up all his great insights, ha ha).

I am not sure that people are really one hundred percent ready for “God as uncaring Balancer”… and seeing “Him” as just Love Eternal is the best analogy for our human brain/heart. That’s the picture I want you to keep Judy!!!!

I was talking to one of my friends (not listed here yet) about some risky life moves she is looped into. Since some of the “choices” she was/is making are obviously life threatening, and she wants to say that the Eternal puts her here, my point was “do you think It cares if you die?”I’m not being cold… but, we receive guidance. We do it, or we ignore it. Sometimes we die.Since there is no “death” in the eye of what we really are, how could the Allness “care” so much? Does that jolt anyone to reality?I don’t know.I was hoping. But some of us are making very permanent, detrimental, or questionable “choices” that aren’t aligned with the most pleasant/fluid course of all existence. We’re allowed to do it.And sometimes it kills us!

I’ll give you a light and airy example for me.I’m supposed to be pretty vegetarian. It’s very plainly guided. But, I don’t do it enough… don’t avoid milk so much (even though it is absolute chaos to even my thinking if I don’t)… and so, it takes a toll. And, eventually, I get back to “listening”.But I suffer inbetween. There are loops in all of our beings that are drawing us down.It might be something stupid and simple, or something complex and multi faceted. We have to look for our own. Beat our own.

And so this projected “Uncaring God” is that because there is no right or wrong, no good or bad. It’s all just a projection on a screen. We are that God. And all of this is so hard to understand from the perspective of the unenlightened human (thanks Jeff, perfect), I’m not sure why we try. Understanding isn’t necessary.Surrender is.

since “God” is a human construct, man made being with likes and dislike, caring or non caring… we wish for God to care for us, and God does care for us by giving us “free will” to do as we chose…

Neo’s journey into himself, to the Matrix is as Aurbobino seeks to make a point about in Man in the Universe… he writes “The Universe and the individual are the two essential appearances into which the Unknowable descends and through which it has to be approached; for other intermediate collectivities are born only of their interaction”
The Human and the spirit have to interact, needs to have an experience… as your have ended your last statement, a surrender… the surrender of one idea for another, but being able to live in both…
It is our ego or human form that refuses to allow us to know that we are God incarnate, yet it is only in that humanness, our consciousness that we will meet and become that God… or that expression of creativity, of Love…

Omg… thank you Jeff! Perfectly written. What a wonderful use of words : ) Thank you so much!

And DeeDee, I’m frightened. Where you are losing spaces, I seem to be gaining huge gaps between my paragraphs!!! Does that symbolize a move away from the Eternal??? I’m gonna use mine to determine that I’m moving more “into the gaps” between human perceptions. Ya, that’s it. Ha ha ha.

Glad to see Jeff join in here, all! He is one helluva’ photographer, if any are interested in seeing his work, just go to his profile. And I’m enjoying reading all this dialogue between Jeff & Michele here so early on a Monday morn. Now…just to add my OWN 2 cents: i think when we lose self, we BEcome (part of, and in balance with) GOD. Something about so many want to seperate themselves from “GOD”, but in reality it is only when we realize that we ARE GOD (as in one part oy ALL) that (i believe) we become content, balanced, at one with ALL.

For those well along the path… Suzanne Segal’s “Collision with the Infinite” will give you a hell of a ride in the NO SELF department : ) But, avoid the book until you’re ready… ‘cause it’s not for people who might scare away from the adventure (dead serious).

I’m still maybe just a bit attached to my ego, hee hee hee, obviously… ‘cause that self thing is hanging on.

Rich, you are at least along the path, or you would not have been drawn to this site Gaia or the conversation going on here…
If you are lost in the woods that is ok too… Neo was lost in the Matrix many time, yet his friends and family, Love that is, always brought him back…
Thanks for the plug on my Photography by the way…
Michele, I don’t know this book Collision with the Infinite but I will check it out.
Much of my journey came to a place of knowing or understanding when I first read Conversation with God book 1… I have read and study most of the rest of Neale Donald Walsch’s/God’s work… yet book one is the foundation that the cycle revolves around…
I use to offer CwG study group because I sought other who read the material, who wished to discuss and learn from it… Knowing and having the answers is one thing, having the experience of a spiritual moment, can and does alter ones life, learning to live with and in that moment, discovering how many more moments you will continue to have it so much part of the re-discovery of Who we are…

Once again I hope this makes sense, there is something deeper here then my “self” writing this…

I am Love, Jeff
